This web book by Matthew Butterick is an absolute gold mine of typography tips and tricks. Everything from the layout to the fonts used, not to mention the advices themselves are top notch. For those in a hurry or uninterested in good typography practices, give the first chapter “Typography in Ten Minutes” a read.

This book is solely responsible for almost every typographic and layout decision that went into making this blog and I feel this book deserves to be the very first blogpost here.
